What technologies does Ouhud use?
Short answer
At its core, Laravel and PHP, Java with Spring Boot for compute-intensive services, as well as Vue.js and TypeScript in the frontend. Databases are MySQL and PostgreSQL. The choice depends on the project – not the other way around.

Why the selection looks this way
The question is not which technology is the most modern, but which will still be maintainable in five years and for which there are professionals available. An exotic stack makes you dependent on the few people who master it.
What we do not do
- No modular systems for applications with their own business logic. They may seem faster at first and become expensive from the first special requirement.
- No technology change without a professional reason. A switch costs money and does not inherently benefit the business.
Existing systems
We connect existing systems via interfaces instead of replacing them – ERP, DATEV, web shops, email, and specialized applications. A replacement is the exception, not the starting point.
