You shape our backend architecture, build high-quality web platforms for DACH and international clients, and lead complex SaaS and custom CRM projects technically. We are looking for an experienced engineer (5+ years) with an architecture mindset who takes ownership.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of scalable backend systems (Laravel, Spring Boot)
  • Architecture and code reviews, technical mentorship of junior developers
  • Design of REST/GraphQL APIs, data modelling and performance tuning
  • Setup of CI/CD pipelines, automated tests and monitoring (DevOps mindset)
  • Direct alignment with clients and product owners — from requirement to go-live

Your profile

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional software-engineering experience
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Strong skills in PHP (Laravel) AND/OR Java (Spring Boot)
  • Solid experience with Vue.js or React for full-stack delivery
  • Deep knowledge of REST/GraphQL, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), indexing and query tuning
  • Experience with Docker, Git-based workflows and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices or event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of GDPR-compliant software architecture and IT security (OWASP Top 10)
  • Clean, test-driven approach with experience in code reviews

  • Development of performant C++ applications for robotics and embedded platforms
  • Design of real-time controls, drivers and hardware abstraction layers

  • Technical architecture and close cooperation with hardware engineers
  • Build and maintain automated test pipelines for embedded targets

Your profile

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in modern C++ development (C++17/20)
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency and lock-free data structures
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS, Linux with RT patch) and embedded targets
  • Confident with CMake, GCC/Clang, GDB and cross-compilation
  • Experience with profiling tools (Valgrind, perf, gprof) and embedded debugging

  • Professional communication with management, partners, tax advisors and applicants
  • High level of discretion, reliability and confidentiality
