Expert knowledge for digital decisions
Why Are Some References Not Public?
Short answer
Why Restraint is Normal
- Confidentiality agreements prohibit naming
- Competitive reasons: A company may not want to disclose which internal systems it uses
- Internal rules: Some corporations do not allow naming
What This Means for You
A short reference list says little about a service provider's experience. A very long one, on the other hand, may indicate that confidentiality is not highly valued there.
What is More Informative
A conversation with a reference client. Ask for it. A service provider with satisfied customers can arrange this, even if the name cannot be publicly disclosed.
And ask this client what did not go well. Every real project has such issues. Anyone who cannot mention any was not involved.
Anonymized case descriptions. Initial situation, solution, result – without names. They demonstrate the working method without violating confidentiality.
What We Show
On the reference page, you will find selected projects with initial situation, implemented solution, and measurable result. Further case descriptions and – by arrangement with the respective clients – a conversation are available upon request.
Conversely
When you work with us, you decide whether and how the project may be named. Nothing will be published without your consent.
