How does a software project work at Ouhud?

The Four Phases

1. Initial Consultation

Free and non-binding. We clarify which problem needs to be solved, which systems are already in use, and whether custom development is the right approach.

2. Concept and Estimation

You will receive a written description of the scope, planned architecture, and effort. Only after that will you decide on the implementation.

3. Implementation in Phases

We work in short cycles with visible interim results. This has a practical reason: requirements become clearer through experimentation, not by reading documents. If you only see something for the first time after six months, corrections can be expensive.

4. Operation

After the launch, we can take over hosting, monitoring, security updates, and further development upon request.

What We Need from You

A dedicated contact person with decision-making authority. This is the single factor that most influences the duration of a project – significantly more than the technology used.

How Long It Takes

This depends less on the technology and more on the clarity of the requirements, the speed of decisions, and the number of interfaces. An initial usable state is usually achievable within weeks, while a complete system with multiple connections takes months.
